How to use Background Remover

What it can and cannot do
This tool removes a background by colour. It is excellent for studio shots, wall backgrounds, product photos on white and clear sky. It cannot cut a person out of a busy street, because that needs an AI model.
Make a passport photo background white
Upload the photo, click the wall colour, choose White and save as JPG. Then resize the photo to the size your form needs.
Get cleaner edges
Raise Trim edge fringe to remove a faint halo, and Edge softness for smoother borders. Use Around the subject so colours inside the subject are not removed.
